Kalinga In the Cordilleras, or mountain region of northern Luzon in the Philippines, belongs two of the five major ethnolinguistic cultural groups: Kalinga and Ifugao. Kalinga means “fighter” or “headhunter” as derived from the Ibanag and Gaddang.
