Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan. Add flour, milk, vanilla extract, salt and eggs to the mixture stirring constantly with a wooden spoon over medium heat until it thickens into a doughy consistency. Spoon or pipe filling onto one side of an eclair then seal the other half on top pressing gently together to form a sandwich shape.
