So the only thing I liked about this pin was the reoccurring use of plants and leaves in their posts, it ties everything together well, but other than that I feel like it SCREAMS advertising page. Take time to relish every experience. These two words seem alien to a lot of us. As the world becomes so reliant with technology and convenience we basically just go through our day like robots. We surround ourselves with too much noise and tasks because of the whole idea of hustle porn. What we may think as efficient may not necessarily being quality in our lives. The silver lining with this pandemic is that we can lessen the rat race enjoy the simple things and appreciate the…

You must have a room or a certain hour or so a day where you dont know what was in the newspapers that morning you dont know who your friends are you dont know what you owe anybody you dont know what anybody owes to you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it something eventually will happen…

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. -Søren Kierkegaard @emirraisa When will this end? Will it ever be normal again? Will humanity learn from this? It is a time of great ambivalence. No one can really say until when this pandemic ends. Despite having way worst pandemics in the past CoVid has paralysed most of everybody's lives. The freedom to travel once a common privilege that a lot used to enjoy now becomes a right. Even going out of the house is now an…

I've always been good with keeping social distance. @emirraisa The notion ofsocial distancewas first introduced by thesociologistEmory Bogardus (1925) who referred to it as the degrees of understanding and feeling that people experience regarding each other. Considering the social distance phenomenon an aspect of Davisons (1983) third-person perception Perloff (1993) articulated it as a complex variable including perceived similarity familiarity and identification and pointed that there…

Me on social distancing. It's way easier to be distant for introverts. How are you extroverts doing?

I don't think you're ready for this jelly. Small fish can often be found living among the tentacles of large jellyfish. The stinging cells of the jellyfish's tentacles do not appear to harm the little fish but do protect it against larger fish that might want to eat it. It is amazing to observe how sea creatures rely on each other. Symbiosis something we humans could learn. We often consider ourselves as "intelligent beings" but during this tough time a good number are showing that only a…

Worried with my sister working at a hospital with a case of Corona but this is the risk every health professional face globally now. I hope we also help them take care whether it is to help out watch over their kids or bringing them healthy food.

My boyfriend revealed.... I actually am not a fan of Jollibee unlike most Filipinos but I was so hungry from the long trip from Siargao when this happened. The only time I end up in this place is when I am hungry from a party and nothing else is open. But hey this is sort of a cool photo right?

If you hike up Fushimi Inari do not miss to stop here! You get a bird's eye view of Kyoto. It takes a while to reach here though. I rushed up with excitement but I did not make it to the last temple because the sun was already setting and my mother and sister was waiting. I was a bit disappointed to not reach the last temple. I was just 3 stops away but I later found out that the temple at the end was not as impressive as the first one you see. I guess I can still call it a win.

[If you] give into your [emotional] illusions and you will find yourself lost in a maze with no exits nor entrances but winding paths that lead you in circles so many times that you grow familiar and comfortable with the very place you shouldn't be in. -A.J. Darkholme

It was my first time to meetup with people I have hosted in their own place! I hosted Mariya and Manaya when Mariya was just 3 months pregnant and boy does time fly fast. Such a lovely people whom I have had long talks with about all sorts of stuff relating to life. They also host people visiting Kyoto but they might have to stop with the baby on the way. It is crazy when you realise that despite being born from three different countries we share a lot of similar things. Mariya missed the…

Going for more tech diving this 2020! My 2019 ended with a wreck and cavern dive in Sipalay. Back in 2013 I learned tech skills as an open water diver because my instructor was one of the pioneers of TDI in Philippines. As a representative of the country he wanted to make sure I had the skills to do low-impact SCUBA diving. It meant that I had to learn proper trim and finning techniques (frog kick modified flutter kick back kick). I trained for almost two weeks for that. Oh the countless…
