4.75" height, 3” opening, holds 24 oz The dark clay used for this mug is fired to a deep, rich brown. Part of the exterior is left unglazed with light carving that enhances the natural texture of the clay. The glazed purple and blue/green interior, rim and handle give the piece a brightness of color, along with a contrast in texture with the natural clay. All of my glazes are high fired, food, dishwasher and microwave safe. You can see more mugs from my store here…

This wheel thrown stoneware mug is glazed with a combination of a light olive green celadon and an orange shino. It's shiny, light weight, and has a comfortable two/three finger handle. The tiny speck on the celadon are caused by the iron content in the clay showing through. Measures almost 3.75" tall x 5" wide (9.5 cm x 12.7 cm) at the handle and holds 12 oz. The opening is 2.75” wide (7.2 cm). Fired to cone 10/11 (2360 F) in a gas kiln. This temperature is at the top of the firing range…
