Pabitin is a famous game that is held during birthdays or town festivals. Fruits, candies, toys, food stuffs are attached to a lattice---usually made of bamboo---which is then hung in such a way that it can be easily raised or lowered. The children assemble under the lattice and, when it is lowered, they try to grab as many goodies as they can.

This hotel was two buildings north of Binondo Church. La Insular Tobacco and Cigar Factory was in-between to the right in this picture. Jose Rizal occasionally stayed in this hotel.
