Sorting by color. Cups and blocks from Dollar Store. Pizza box was free. Containerizing pom-poms with some size sorting. Sorting dollar store clips. Popsicle sticks from dollar store into a coffee creamer bottle or spray paint bottle tops to sort by color. Sorting silverware. We also wash with our power dish brush.
This is a great way to teach job skills. You can recreate this with a piece of plywood and add hooks. I then took old Avon books and cut out images of perfumes, eye shadows, and other images from magazines that you might find at Dollar Tree. This activity is a sorting or zoning activity. They have to match the like items. Some of our students work at Dollar Tree, so this helps others that may one day get that job site-By Bernice
