Skandansan or the Side Lunge is also known as the pose of a War God ready for battle in Yoga. We spend so much of our time preparing for life’s battles that we lose sight of the battle we start within ourselves. Self-doubt can be as weakening as wounds and self deprecation, as permanent as scars. But as they say, life is not a battle to win but a journey to enjoy. You can never lose a battle that never existed to begin with.
