My middle school students were so engaged with this poetry analysis lesson! It has a colorful slideshow about Langston Hughes' poem "Harlem" and foldables for interactive notebooks. Not sure whether the kids favorite part was unscrambling the lines of the poem (What happens to a dream deferred?) or analyzing the Nike commercial that uses the poem; they loved both! #teaching #middleschool #reading Teaching Literature
