Fine and Dandy ~ this phrase is often heard when a Southerner is upset about the present circumstance. Say, for example, that traffic is bad and you miss the movie. Disappointed, you might hear the Southern belle or gentleman say, "Well, that is just fine and dandy!". In other words, it is ANYTHING, but fine! giggles dwb
