Beautiful handmade baby shower card with embossed background

Whilst wandering through Blogland I spotted a card made by someone using a large die of the word 'baby'. I thought it was great but was impatient to do something similar, so I made this with my Silhouette. I arranged the letters in a random way and then welded them together. I cut it out about three times and layered them to add a little extra dimension. The balloon die is from Paper Smooches and the string was cut from a needle and thread die by Memory Box. I find this thread really useful…

Stampsnsmiles: Baby Congrats!

Baby Congrats!

Soothing neutral colors just seemed right when welcoming boy #4! I dusted off the sewing machine for this one and used a little stitiching as embellishing. Added a little pearl and flower for Mom .... it's important to keep a little femininity alive! You'll find this wonderful set on the very last page of your Stampin' Up! catalog. Moving Forward is this year's exclusive Ronald McDonald House Charity stamp. Stampin' Up! donates $3 to this fantastic charity each time this stamp set is…

Welcome Baby card // Stampin Up 'Zoo Babies' giraffe stamp // grey chevron, yellow & turquoise, twine

Welcome Baby!

This baby card was made for my cousins new baby. His room colors are Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana. Aren't those colors so cute together!? I love the new Zoo Babies stamp set, so that was my starting point for this card. Of course, I added some chevron DSP and Gorgeous Grunge - my go to set!

Zoo babies - happy birthday - Stampin Up - Just Spiffing by Fiona Bradley

Zoo Babies Birthday

Zoo babies, aren't they just the most adorable stamp set? I love how they resemble patterned paper in this card. I will get a lot of mileage out of this design sending it to the young children of all my friends. Fiona's notes: I cute the little banner pieces by hand. Remember my golden rule: do the best with what you have to hand! I taped up my stamp from the Itty Bitty Banners set after I inked it to ensure I only stamped the words and dots. Works a treat. Stamps: Zoo Babies, Itty Bitty…

Imaginisce: A Couple of Cards to Share

I've Cased a couple of cards to share today. Both cards were inspired by ones that I came across on Pinterest... Happy Birthday Supply List Imaginisce - Little Princess (Happily Ever After); Welcome Spring (Spring Stripe); i-Rock Tool & Rocks; i-Top Tool & Brad, Paper Distresser American Crafts - White Cardstock; Baker's Twine I started out making this card to use up those circles. They were negatives from bigger circles I used on a background for a layout. Then, I used the i-rock tool to…
