Jackson Glacier Afternoon
Jackson Glacier sits in the saddle between Blackfoot Mountain(rising to the left with it's pinnacle out of frame) and Mount Jackson(out of frame to the right). The base of Citadel Mountain juts out in the middle of the frame on the left. The Continental Divide runs along the ridge in the back of this image. This spot has been photographed tons of times and for good reason. This is visible from the Going-to-the-Sun Highway and takes little effort to snap a shot. So here's my take on the…
