I hope to use this site to share the many experiences I have had with preschoolers during my 20 years of teaching. I would like to share crafts, activities, and some insights.
Healthy bodies/germs unit. Teaches about how germs spread and the importance of hand washing. Students dip one hand each in "germs" (glitter), shake hands with friend to spread germs. Paint hands and print onto "sink" add additional washing tools. Faucet, water splash, and soap. Sprinkle hand prints with extra glitter.
Healthy kids theme. First you have the children paint a shape on paper. Then I asked kids how we prevent germs from spreading it was fun.
