Donabe styles from Toiro Kitchen. Donabe means clay or earth pot and in Japanese. It is an amazing traditional cooking vessel and method. The clay pots are used over a open fire or gas burner. You can cook rice, steam, smoke and make soups, stews and other one pot meals.
