Spicer's & Peckham's Coal Cook Stove
The display reads: Coal Cook Stove Manufactured by Spicer's & Peckham Rhode Island 1881 This cast iron stove is known as a "brick-set" range. It was designed to be installed right in the fireplace. This style was manufactured beginning in the late 1870s, and production ceased about 1900. It is interesting to note that all identification on this stove is "stamped" on bolted metal plates.
