as this model was so well received I thought I'd make a diagram. it's a really simple tesselation. meaning that you'll be able to fold it even if you're usually not doing tesselations. all you need to know is how to fold a triangle grid (instructional video by sara adams) and an open-back hexagon twist. but don't get scared by the strange words, it's all in the diagram ; ) you'll probably want to have a look at the pdf of the diagram because there you even see the grid lines ; )
