I have been sewing since I was five years old, and have always been fascinated with turning the fabrics into three-dimensional forms.

Each is of black sateen cloth with firmly-stuffed face and body, elongated throat, embroidered petite features, shapely lady torso and elongated limbs. Each is wearing her original costume and turban. Very good condition, one doll has wear on leg under skirt. Late 1800s.
