Mohun Bagan was the first Indian team to defeat a European team, when they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment, 2-1 to lift the 1911 IFA Shield during British Rule in India. And noteworthy, the Britishers had regulation boots on whereas the Indians played full 90 minutes without any protective gear and boots. Won: 2-1. A very very rare pic from that final victory.

Michelberger Hotel, Berlin. I so want to go to this place. Check out the "Whisky Room." This room formerly boasted a sign saying "No women, no dogs," as part of the British men's club. The hotel uses this room for football (not the american kind), whiskey, poker, and "hanging out. Their sign: "Many women, no pictures." Ha!
