Art Deco Earrings
A Pair of Art Deco Platinum, Jade, Carnelian, Diamond and Carved Jade Pendant-Earclips. Topped by 2 square-shaped jade, joined by slender lines of old-mine cut diamonds spaced by oval carnelian links, suspending 2 carved kite-shaped jade approximately 33.5 x 12.8 mm. and 33.5 x 12.5 mm.
A pair of Art Deco sapphire and diamond drop earrings, circa 1920. The centre two bars set either with calibré-cut sapphires, leading to diamond-set triangles and a single diamond-set collet, suspending a cushion-cut faceted sapphire, the top an oval-cut sapphire suspending a single diamond-set collet, the sapphires weight approximately a total of 6.0 carats, all set in 18ct white gold with hook fittings, bearing French import marks.
Set in platinum these Art Deco diamond earrings capture the glamour of a time when elegance and style dominated jewelry fashion. Featuring two old European cut diamonds weighing 2.15 carats total. The two diamonds are approximately “J” color and “SI” clarity. There are an additional seventy round diamonds weighing 2 carats. The earrings are 13/4 of an inch long, circa 1925
CARTIER. 1920. RARE PAIR long earrings ended with a cabochon amethyst pear base of rose-cut diamonds. They are held by a white enamel stick link chain to all sides, and polished by baguette diamonds. The round ear motif carries an amethyst cabochon in a white enamel entourage. Platinum and gold mount (rear of ear system). Signed. Length: 8.2 cm.
