Who’s ready for football season?! Ok, I’ll admit, I usually have no clue what’s going on during the game – but you know I love a good theme! The only supplies I used for this project were a real football (cheaper is better on this one, guys!) and a glass vase. I started by tracing the top of the glass vase onto the top of the football so I knew where to cut. I thought this was going to be harder t…
Football banquet centerpiece Used football vase, with foam inside and metallic wrapping paper to hide it. I used kabob sticks (cheap enough and a bag has about 50) I found mini "Popsicle sticks" and hot glued each stick together. Each picture was cut and glued to a piece of card stock, the popsicle stick then was glued in between each card stock piece. I made these around Christmas time, I was able to find alot of silver and red supplies to add some pizzazz:)
Each centerpiece was dedicated to a player. We used a roll of toilet paper wrapped in tissue and tied with ribbon. We then painted bamboo sticks and glued pictures from throughout the season that included that player or were group shots, along with their name/#, and our team name and school logo. The bamboo sticks were then stuck into the the roll to stand. We also added a star that we had gotten on clearance after Christmas and curling ribbon.
Centerpiece. The base was a roll of toilet paper, with floral foam in the center. Pictures were glued to craft sticks and placed in the floral foam. Tissue paper, and a rubber band around the top. I covered the rubber band with grossgrain ribbon and a hand made cheer style bow. It was simple to make and they looked beautiful!
