Paddlefish : Chinese Paddlefish, American Paddlefish
Paddlefish scientifically known as Polyodontidae are ancient Chondrostean ray-finned fishes. There are only two existing species of these fish: the Chinese and American paddlefish. The paddlefish is the biggest (over 300 pounds, seven-feet long) freshwater fish in the United States and is found in 25 states, such as Intake Reservoir near Glendive Montana.
