The evil Kin family Llyr have a new weapon: Evangeline’s sister, Addie, who is their best chance to break the Eighth Day spell. Riley hopes to get Addie back, but it would mean sacrificing thousands of lives in the meantime, so Jax comes up with a risky plan of his own. Addie doesn’t see herself as being on the wrong side and is delighted to be essential to the Kin’s plan. But when Jax shows up, attempting to rescue her, the Kin pounce.
