Street Art Utopia
Dream Swept, in Kansas City, is a sculpture that is composed of three flying birds flying through the roundabout. The birds’ form is inspired by maple tree seedling, and the brightly colored feathers are reflective of the hope of the future. All of our experiences, spirit and hopefulness we bring into it.

I AM A MAN Plaza, is a large-scale experiential public sculpture commissioned to pay tribute to the members of the pivotal 1968 Sanitation Workers’ Strike and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A focal point of the Civil Rights Movement, the strike brought Dr. King to Memphis, Tennessee where he was assassinated. #MLK
Lichtfest Leipzig commemorates the demonstrations on 9 October 1989 in the East German city of Leipzig – a decisive catalyst for the start of the Peaceful Revolution that finally led to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ring (do/undo/redo) is a site-specific dynamic light installation created for Lichtfest Leipzig 21. The installation consists of a circular wall with two openings that give access to the interior space. #publicart #lightart
Functionally, this artwork physically acts as a permeable screen enabling passive surveillance yet it also discourages children running onto the road from the public open space adjacent. Stretching along almost 40 metres and over 2 metres high the design brief was to meet the functional requirements while creating artwork to visually enrich the space at close quarters or at traffic speed and to reflect a sense of place.
For the 10th edition of Luminothérapie, the theme was the celebration. POP! really caught the festive spirit the Partnership was looking for. “Our interactive installation is a celebration of light, music, movement and popular culture. We hope that POP! acts as a catalyst for collective energy, which encourages exchange and collaboration between people. #publicart
Culturespaces commissioned the project as a part of "Immersive Art Festival" competition at Atelier Des Lumieres, 18-24 October, 2019. The brief was to design an immersive audiovisual project specific to the space, and to create a concept and content utilizing the space perception of the audience at its best. #publicart
The subtle perforation is made up of different sized circles, rotated and skewed slightly to provide the illusion of small water droplets hitting the surfaces. Starting at dusk, spotlights mounted on the nearby buildings will shine down on the sculptures; the lights will sparkle through the perforation and at the same time provide a landscape of changing color on the nearby hardscape.
