After all these weeks of looking through examples of design, I've started to appreciate old vintage ads. This feels more human with a handpainted image (rather than a photograph), and the fonts aren't overly complex. It uses minimal text which is nice because the red negative space can make the woman stand out more. Some of the newer graphic design work feels a little too clean and sleak so I've been enjoying designs like this that are simple but not too slick.
