The Anterior Ligament attaches along the length of the entire spine, from the top bone in the neck down to the tailbone. It is a strong, leather-like band of tissue attached to every vertebra and disc. When you have prolonged Forward Head Posture, this ligament becomes shortened and scarred, and interferes with restoration of the normal cervical curve.
