Design Tip: The Bathroom is Part of the Experience As one of the few rooms where you can get your patient's undivided attention, designing your restroom space with intent matters. To achieve a warm and comfortable ambience, pay attention to lighting and ensure that its interior blends well with your overall interior design. Photo: @femmewomenscare by Simour Design
Design Tip: Pay attention to your Medical Breakroom As the only space where your front liners and staff can be comfortable in, it is extremely important to include the medical breakroom in the design process. By doing so, you can show your staff that you care, and pay attention to what they need. Remember, a happy and motivated team is essential for an effective, and world-class practice. "Recognize that every interaction you have is an opportunity to make positive impact on others." - Shep Hyken. This holds true when designing lounge areas for medical spaces. It should be done with intent by putting your patients first, and presenting your brand at its best for a positive first impression. Make it worthwhile and aim to convey a message of trust, warmth, and comfort to your patients, to achieve a high-performing space that's designed to heal. Photo: Femme Women's Care by Simour D
Consultation rooms can be described as the "soul" of medical spaces. It's an important space to complete the healing process. This brings in the importance of medical interior design to make a difference in the space. Just look at this @simourdesign project for Femme Women's Care. To create a healing environment for this next generation women's care, we went beyond the usual stiff and lifeless consultation space, and aimed to "wow" their patients with this warm and well-designed space.
